What is Counseling?
Counseling is a confidential and supportive process aimed at empowering individuals to confront their challenges and develop effective coping strategies. Through the practice of active listening, you are encouraged to take an active role in addressing your concerns. Referrals are not limited to a specific source, as you have the option to self-refer directly by clicking the referral button provided.
My approach to counseling involves a combination of various therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Person-Centred Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, and Gestalt Therapy. This integrative approach allows for a tailored and holistic treatment experience.
Personal Therapy for Counseling Students:
I am delighted to offer Personal Therapy to counseling students, as it is often a requirement mandated by certain training institutions as part of their curriculum. By engaging in Personal Therapy, students can gain valuable insights and personal growth to complement their professional development.
